This year, the biggest Croatian street sports event will be held for the 24th time.
This spring, Rijeka Run - the sports and recreation festival, offers nine races over three weekends. It all starts on March 25 with a 539 jump, a race on the Trsat steps. Two weeks later, on April 8, the Molo longo race is run in the very center of the city, along Rijeka's popular seafront promenade.
The grand finale of the festival, in which thousands of Rijeka citizens of all generations traditionally participate, is scheduled for April 23 and includes the 19th Rijeka Half Marathon, a 3x7km relay race, the 10K race powered by Heineken 0.0 and the Erste 5K race of competitive and non-competitive short runs for the youngest participants, the Milka Milinković Memorial Race for people with disabilities and visually impaired people, and a large humanitarian race for citizens, with which this whole sports story began.
